Let’s Cut Down on Delivery Costs Together!

One of my biggest challenges in running this business has been shipping and delivery costs within Lagos. You’d think that sending books within the same city would be cheaper, but that’s not always the case.

For instance, I recently sent a parcel of books to Abuja for ₦4,000, which seems reasonable given the distance. But guess what? I sent the same size parcel within Lagos for the exact same ₦4,000! Even worse, I once had to send something from the mainland to the island, and it cost ₦11,000—within the same city! That’s just outrageous.

A Smart Solution: Bookshops Near You

This got me thinking—how can I get these books closer to my customers to help reduce these crazy shipping costs?

Then an idea hit me! If you know a bookstore near you, could you tell them about my books and send me their details? I’ll personally reach out to them and see if they can stock the books. That way, you can simply walk into the store and buy them without worrying about expensive delivery fees.

This idea actually came from a church bookshop owner who told me she couldn’t stock my books unless someone specifically requested them. It made me realize that many bookstores only stock what people demand—so if you ask for these books, they’ll be more likely to carry them!
